Vagy\u00f3czky Tibor 1931. szeptember 6-\u00e1n sz\u00fcletett Budapesten. Sz\u00fclei Vagy\u00f3czky J\u00e1nos \u00e9s Koszor\u00fas Veronika voltak. 1951-1955 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Sz\u00ednh\u00e1z- \u00e9s Filmm\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskola operat\u0151r szakos hallgat\u00f3ja volt, ebben az id\u0151szakban ismerkedett meg Zsigmond Vilmossal \u00e9s Kov\u00e1cs L\u00e1szl\u00f3val. 1955-1987 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Mafilmn\u00e1l dolgozott, Ill\u00e9s Gy\u00f6rgy k\u00f6zvetlen munkat\u00e1rsak\u00e9nt. 1987-1990 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Movi rendez\u0151-operat\u0151re volt. 2001-2003 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt az IMAGO (Eur\u00f3pai Operat\u0151r\u00f6k T\u00e1rsas\u00e1g\u00e1nak) eln\u00f6ke volt.<\/div>\n

Harminc\u00f6t \u00e9ven \u00e1t a Sz\u00ednh\u00e1z- \u00e9s Filmm\u0171v\u00e9szeti F\u0151iskola egyik meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 tan\u00e1ra volt, illetve oktatott a Szent Istv\u00e1n Egyetem kommunik\u00e1ci\u00f3s szak\u00e1n is. Az \u0151 kezei alatt sz\u00fclethetett meg a K\u00e9zik\u00f6nyv film- \u00e9s t\u00e9v\u00e9alkot\u00f3knak c\u00edm\u0171 k\u00f6nyv, amely az egyik legmeghat\u00e1roz\u00f3bb filmes tank\u00f6nyv, t\u00f6bb kiad\u00e1sban is megjelent. Emellett f\u0151szervez\u0151je volt a HSC digit\u00e1lis napok rendezv\u00e9ny\u00e9nek. 2008-ban a Magyar K\u00f6zt\u00e1rsas\u00e1gi \u00c9rdemrend Lovagkeresztje kit\u00fcntet\u00e9sben r\u00e9szes\u00fclt. 2020-ban pedig \u00e1tvehette az IMAGO International Tribute Award d\u00edjat, amelyet a III. Kov\u00e1cs L\u00e1szl\u00f3 \u00e9s Zsigmond Vilmos Operat\u0151r Verseny g\u00e1l\u00e1j\u00e1n vehetett \u00e1t.<\/div>\n

\u00c9lete sor\u00e1n t\u00f6bbek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt olyan filmekben ny\u00fajtott kiemelked\u0151 operat\u0151ri teljes\u00edtm\u00e9nyt, mint p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a Neh\u00e9z emberek, az Es\u0151s vas\u00e1rnap, az Ezek a fiatalok, a Nem szoktam hazudni vagy \u00e9ppen a Fi\u00fak a t\u00e9rr\u0151l c\u00edm\u0171 alkot\u00e1sok. Ezeken fel\u00fcl pedig t\u00f6bb, mint sz\u00e1z r\u00f6vid- \u00e9s dokumentumfilm alkot\u00f3ja volt.<\/div>\n
